Steel cooperation for food technology on highest level

An international food concern entrusted the steel constructor Astr-Technik with the building of a food-production plant. As they were lacking capacity for this big project the managing director Stefan Corleis turned to IHNEN AURICH. The final inspection was in april.

In order to chop up and fill frozen products the 12x10x12 meter assessing plant, which was supposed to operate in Russia, was completely pre-installed and extensively tested in Aurich.

45 tons of galvanized steel as well as 75 tons of vibration technics were used. “ The pre-installation in Germany saves costs and time as the plant can be faster used on site,” says Corleis. IHNEN AURICH was the perfect cooperation partner for Corleis due to long-term experiences in plant steel construction, ultra-modern production technics, big production space, vehicles and cranes. At the own premesis in Stuhr it would have been impossible to install the system completely. But beforehand some challenges had to be dealt with. IHNEN project-leader Stefan Hugen:”As the steel has to withstand very deep temperatures a special construction was necessary.” And for the sister model which went into operation one year ago, a reflection of the construction was necessary.

Another part are the vibration machines of high value and low maintenance from Scan Vibro: ”Compentences met in an optimum way. Further project will follow for sure”, enthusiastically remarked Steen Larsen, Mananging Director of the danish company.
