An increase in productivity due to the new sawing-/drilling machine

A clear increase in the processing speed of base profiles till 1,040mm, this is what IHNEN AURICH expects from the installation of the new Kaltenbach sawing/drilling machine KDS-R 1015. With this machine, a replacing investment which has now been commissioned, steel construction profiles can be drilled, grained and sawed to the precise length in one stage. Rolled steel sections like double T-steel, T-steel, U-steel, angle steel, structural tubing shape and flat steel will be processed.

The boring unit of the plant disposes of an automized tool changing unit at three drilling spindels for 5 tool dimensions each.

The tools are positioned and automatically countersinked in a very precise way via spindle ball bearing arrangements and servomotor. This machine secures the quality lead for IHNEN AURICH and the demand to reach tolerances in the special steel construction comparable to the tolerances in the mechanical engineering.
