While huge bridge cranes move the heavy steel girder across the hall we developed an own system for the production line: a gravity roller conveyor. The raw material runs from station to station on solid, rotatable roles from the sand-blasting machine to the drilling-sawing machine and from there to the notching robot. Millimetres-precised outlets are flame-cutted out of the web as well as out of the flange.

We developed and produced the gravity roller conveyor system out of individual parts from Kaltenbach. A cross belt has been integrated into this system. Metal rails immersed between the roles lift up the material and transport it to the neighbouring roller conveyor where it is let down again.

Like this the material is transported in a secure and fast way from station to station of our production line.
